Mantel 1.2.0 Latest
NewHang Three Samples — the welcome guide (and the empty wall plan) hangs three framed samples in one click, so your desktop looks right straight away. Take them down whenever you like.
NewPieces line up with their neighbours as you drag — shared edges, centres or an even 24 pt gap — with a chalk line in the wall plan. Hold ⌥ to place a piece exactly where you drop it.
NewLine Up (⌥⌘L) hangs every unlocked piece with its centre on one line along the top, evenly spaced.
NewUndo and Redo (⌘Z, ⇧⌘Z) for moving, lining up, storing, locking, editing and deleting pieces.
NewHide All for Screen Sharing — ⌃⌥⌘H hides or shows every piece from any app, and the menu bar icon shows a slashed eye while they're hidden.
NewPick which display the wall plan shows, and move a piece to another display from its menu.
ImprovedThe welcome guide explains the Photos permission in plain words before macOS asks, and offers "Choose a Folder" as the way in that needs no permission.
ImprovedImporting from Apple Photos says when macOS is downloading a photo kept in iCloud, instead of looking stuck.
FixedIn a narrow window with the editor open, the wall plan was drawn at about 1 : 8; it now shows one display at a time at about 1 : 4.
FixedA piece dropped in the wall plan could stay where it was on the desktop until the next change.
